The Festival in Two Formats: Online and In Person
Food Design Festival 2024 will kick off with the Digital Summit on September 23 and 24. This online event, open to everyone, will focus on digital innovation in food design, food sustainability and emerging technologies. From 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (local time), attendees can enjoy talks and workshops led by global experts.
Starting September 25, the festival moves to Matadero Madrid for an in-person event featuring talks, exhibitions, workshops, panel discussions and the prestigious FOODA ’24 Awards. Over these three days, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Spain time), attendees can meet the industry’s leading innovators face to face.
Mexican Innovation at the Festival
Mexico will have a strong presence at Food Design Festival 2024. Alongside Jorge Boneta, other Mexican leaders will share their expertise. Hiram Ibarra, Director of Innovation in Agribusiness and founder of OLAJ, and Faviola Ramos, founder of XICA de Maíces Ancestrales, will give talks on sustainability in food design and agribusiness, bringing valuable perspectives to the global conversation on food innovation.
