Porfirio’s at the Vogue Day of the Dead Gala 2023 in Mexico City

Porfirio’s at the Vogue Day of the Dead Gala 2023

On October 26, Porfirio’s once again had the opportunity to be part of Mexico’s most exclusive event, the Vogue Day of the Dead Gala, held at a classic and mystical venue in the heart of Mexico City: Proyecto Público Prim, a beautiful restored Porfirian-era house in the heart of Colonia Juárez. It was an impressive setting that embodied the vibrant, colorful essence of this Mexican cultural celebration.

With a black carpet lit up by an amazing range of outfits inspired by tradition, the event brought together a variety of personalities and leading figures from the cultural and entertainment scene.

In this setting, Porfirio’s, one of the most recognized Grupo Anderson’s brands for its culinary excellence and commitment to authentic contemporary Mexican cuisine, had the honor of bringing the best flavors of Mexican gastronomy to every guest. Our goal was to offer the distinguished attendees an exceptional culinary experience that captured the essence and evolution of contemporary Mexican cooking.

The presence of well-known personalities such as Valentina Ferrer, Alfonso Herrera, Mabel Cadena, Danny Ocean, Abraham Mateo and Bárbara de Regil, among others, created an atmosphere of distinction and sophistication. On top of that, the night featured a special performance by Christian Nodal, one of the most representative figures in regional Mexican music in recent years. The company of these well-known figures and other distinguished guests added an aura of elegance and prestige to the event, raising the level of our participation in the gala even further.

Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed a selection of exquisite dishes carefully prepared by our talented culinary team. From the most traditional Mexican antojitos (street-style bites) to contemporary interpretations of Mexico’s signature flavors, every dish paid tribute to the richness and diversity of Mexican cuisine.

As the night went on, guests enjoyed a series of happenings and special performances that enriched the overall experience, highlighting the importance of preserving and honoring the traditions rooted in Mexico’s cultural identity.

The participation of Porfirio’s in the Vogue Day of the Dead Gala 2023 marked a significant chapter in promoting and sharing the richness of contemporary Mexican cuisine, and it is one more example of how Grupo Anderson’s will always go hand in hand with the most exclusive events in our country. We sincerely appreciate the opportunity to be part of this iconic event and look forward to future occasions to keep sharing our passion for authentic Mexican cuisine with an ever wider and more diverse audience.
